Our Name
Water Mission® is the official brand name doing business as (DBA) for the legal entity Water Missions International. The legal name can only be used on approved formal or legal documentation, like government forms and grant applications. All external marketing, communications, and general correspondence will use the brand name Water Mission. This guidance also applies to our nine country programs, except Indonesia.
Please spell Water Mission and never abbreviate the name (e.g., WM). For our country programs, the brand name is Water Mission, except in Indonesia, which uses Waha Mitra as the brand name. You may include the country or location in the following ways:
"Water Mission's [country name] program..."
"Our work in [country name]..."
"The people in [community and or country name]..."
Please do not attach the country name to our brand name, like "Water Mission [country name]," or use an abbreviation such as WMX (X being the first letter of the country name).
